This image was originally part of a California State Library photographic history project documenting the daily lives and historical, political, and cultural contributions of California's diverse communities. On June 12, 1999, Long Beach residents donated to the Long Beach Public Library 398 family and personal photographs as part of this ongoing statewide project. Shown here is three-year-old Quirina Wiesen with her favorite doll, "Pinkie," another "replacement Pinkie," Stu the rabbit, toy picnic basket, and dishes from Solvang, California. Also pictured is a large plush toy in the background, and a small Winnie-the-Pooh figurine sitting on the floor next to the dolls. Donor states that the image was taken on a Sunday morning at Grandma's. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG. IMAGE: 5.5" x 8" color glossy print. NEGATIVE: No. KEYWORDS: Families, fashion.
