J. C. Vasquez, a Sioux-Apache and Los Angeles City advisor on Indian affairs, holds powwows to aid his people. Much of his work has been carried out at the Los Angeles Indian Center, a welfare organization, which recently moved its headquarters to 3018 Beverly Blvd. Photograph dated September 3, 1963.
