One of two sons of comedic actor, Joe E. Brown, Don Evan (December 25, 1916 - October 8, 1942) went on to become a Captain in the United States Army Air Force, but was killed during pilot training.
Planning the program arrangements for the Youth Rally for Peace, demonstration by Southern California youth at the Philharmonic Auditorium October 9 against participation in Europe's war are Janet Mosher, executive of Westminister Club (Presbyterian college students group), Don Brown, chairman of arrangements for the rally and son of film comedian Joe E. Brown, and Lois Crozier, state chairman of the California Youth Legislature.
