Description
First unit of an 800 mva autotransformer, larger and heavier than any on the Department’s power system, required this unique 128-wheel transport trailer for its trip from a North Hollywood location to Receiving Station E, 5740 Whitnall Highway. Each wheel of the vehicle is carrying a load of more than two and half tons.
