Klinger, 60-year-old assistant superintendent of McKinley Home for Boys in Van Nuys, says friendliness of Valleyites impressed him when he arrived here, and becomes increasingly evident with the passing years. 'People are the basis of a good or bad community,' he said. 'We can be thankful that Valleyites, for the most part, are good...' Klinger and his wife, Marion, who is now retired, live at 6633 Gloria Ave., Van Nuys."
