Photograph caption dated July 17, 1961 reads, "Name 'Valley Man of the Year' Judges. Judges were named for the selection of the "Valley Man of the Year," the annual Fernando Award, at a meeting at the Inn, 12600 Riverside Dr., Studio City. From left are Jesse McHam, award committee secretary; TV personality Art Baker, who will emcee the award presentation Sept. 28, and judges Kathleen Parker, Gerald Kepple and Donald Redwine. Nominees for the trophy are Richard G. Norlander, Sherman Oaks; Douglas Pedlow Jr., Reseda, and Lee Tripp, Winnetka."
