Head shot of American born dancer, Monteux. Gelatin silver print, monochromatic. Inscribed on the photograph in black ink: "A Madame Cecil Frankel que je ne peux m'empecher d'aimer tendrement, Nanci Monteux, Aug 1935." Written in white ink and also stamped on the back of this image is the name of the photographer.
