Description
Prototype Cartrivision videocassette recorder inside a wooden cabinet, both with Sears branding. Model No. 52852250201, Serial Number Y24590059. Cartrivision was introduced in 1972, one of the first domestic analog video cassette systems. The recorders and sets were manufactured by Avco, and sold, usually as television/VCR combinations, through stores such as Sears and Montgomery Ward.
