Photograph caption dated March 15, 1933 reads, "Mayors, officials and civic representatives of cities damaged by the quake are pictured at a meeting at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce today to discuss plans for general rehabilitation and reconstruction. The arrow points out A.L. Oliger, executive secretary of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, addressing the conference. The representatives estimated the total damage for all communities outside Los Angeles at $60,937,000."
