Photograph was edited for publication purposes The San Fernando Airport Industrial Park was located at 12910 Foothill Blvd and at the time of this exposition, was a brand new airport development of 600 acres. Representatives to the exposition were hoping to attract new industry by touting the accessibility of the development to all parts of the Valley, Greater Los Angeles and freeways. The San Fernando Business Center has since been built over the former site of the San Fernando Airport Industrial Park. Photograph caption dated April 14, 1958 reads, "Gov. Averell Harriman takes look at Valley exhibit on display at New York City's National Industrial Development Exposition. Representing San Fernando Airport Industrial Park are F. Patrick Burns and N. S. Ridgway. Exhibit urges industry to locate here."
