There is a sign that reads ‘Daska Mission High School Foundation stone laid by E. R. Abbott Esq. Duputy Commissioner March 26th 1915.’ William Scott (1866-1936) pictured on the far left, spent the greater part of his career in Daska and was Principal of the Christian Boys’ Training School. ❧ Daska is situated twenty miles South West of Sialkot. It was the main station from which itineration could be carried out in the surrounding district and from early on had a permanent catechist.
