Description
Eugene Cherpin (1923-2012) was born into a winemaking family in the Fontana area and experienced first-hand many of the changes in the Southern California Wine Industry during his lifetime. In this oral history interview, he discusses his early memories such as the wine deliveries his family winery made to Los Angeles, and, later on, his varied career that included work in the Cucamonga Region's winemaking trade, work for the American alcoholic beverage distributor Heublein Corporation, and work as a manager of food processing plants.
