Photograph caption dated May 26, 1962 reads, "William Di Meo, 8, or Reseda, enjoys a ride on Monty Montana's horse. Montana, right, and Mrs. Kay Gable were among those aiding in St. John's benefit." The article partially reads, "Cadets at St. John's Military Academy in Chatsworth will soon have their swimming pool. A gala fund-raising campaign Sunday raised the $15,000 needed to construct the pool...The fact that Bunker Spreckels, son of Mrs. Kay Gable of Encino, is a cadet at the academy was a help...Mrs. Gable was able to line up stars for the event. Monty Montana and his troupe put on a Western riding show. Lucille Ball and Eddie Fisher sold tickets."
