Description
A doll representing a Pwo Karen woman. She wears a green-colored headdress wrapped with a red-colored strip of cloth, and decorated with long beaded tassels. The doll wears a long dress with embroidered stripes around the chest and the hem; long red strands of yarn hang from the waist of the dress to the hem. Several silver and beaded necklaces hang at various lengths around her neck. The doll holds a spindle (used for weaving, wound with white yarn) in her right hand.
