This structure was later demolished. Photograph caption dated June 5, 1957 reads, "Burbank's new fire station -This photograph shows Burbank's new headquarters fire station nearing completion at 375 E. Olive Ave. Interior finishing remains to be completed. Fire department officials say city's new stations and fire alarm system should reduce loss of life and injuries due to fires. Insurance rates also will be lowered because of installaion [sic] of new facilities. All stations will be connected by modern inter-communication setup."; See images #00120908 through #00120914 for all photos in this series.
