Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 11, 1963 reads, "The San Fernando Valley Chapter of the American Association of University Women won a victory last week by replanting trees along Topanga Canyon Blvd. The battle was started last year when members discovered that widening the street would eliminate several hundred trees. Atefr [sic] several months of negotiation with public officials, group succeeded in obtaining sufficient dedicated property along the street to allow replanting. Shown inspecting a tree is C. M.
