Photograph caption dated February 19, 1954 reads, "Crusade for freedom. Management, labor and finance joined today to sign the Freedom Scroll advocating support for Radio Free Europe. Left to right: J.E. Fishburn, Jr. vice president of the Bank of America and county chairman for the Crusade; Albert T. 'Blackie' Lunceford, secretary-treasurer of the Greater Los Angeles CIO Council; and Oscar A. Trippet, past president of the Chamber of Commerce and Southern California chairman for the Crusade. Freedom Scrolls are being circulated for signatures through business and labor groups."
