Photograph article dated August 11, 1962 partially reads, "Mike Gold and Art Shartsis will head an unusual caravan in San Fernando Valley this fall. Behind them will be the support of 40 cheerleaders, two bands, 7 VIPS, 30 youngsters, a disc jockey, television and motion picture celebrities and several honorary mayors...Mike, a 17-year-old Birmingham High School senior, and Art, 16-year-old North Hollywood senior, have volunteered to help in organizing a 40-mile day-long caravan on Oct. 6 to kick-off the Community Chest's 1962-63 fund raising campaign."
