Description
Photograph of three blind people sitting and listening to a "talking book", ca.1928. Two elderly women and one elderly man sit around a record player, listening intently to the "talking book". The woman at left wears a long, dark dress with a white lace collar, and can be seen in three-quarters profile, her eyes open, and her hands in her lap. The elderly man sits between the two elderly women, and wears spectacles, a three piece suit with a dress shirt, and a dark tie. The elderly woman at right wears a long patterned dress, and can be seen seated next to a table, which holds a large phonograph that plays the "talking book" record. A piano can be seen behind the three elderly people.
