Caption dated April 3, 1965 reads, "Valley Times Photo Chief Gordon Dean faced some high water at the height of yesterday's storm as he attempted to cross Blakeslee Avenue at Magnolia Boulevard. Though not attired in his trusty hip boots, Dean made the crossing when water subsided."
