Description: Photograph caption dated January 25, 1960 reads, "Jay Chamberlain, North Hollywood auto dealer, accepts checkered flag from pretty admirer after winning the 15-lap main event for modified cars under 1500cc [sic] in yesterday's Palm Springs Road Races. Chamberlain piloted a Lotus MK 15. Bob Drake won the 20-lap main event for cars over 2000 cc in his 2.8 'Birdcage' Maserati."
