Thousands of citizens jam streets of New Chinatown to watch annual New Year Parade through streets. Traditional dragon, scaring away bad spirits, bad luck and misfortune, winds its way through the onlookers amidst blaring bands and bursting firecrackers. Chinese ushered in 'Year of the Rooster', 4655. Photograph dated February 2, 1957.
