Shown in circa 1905 is the interior of Field and Walton, Incorporated, located at 706 K Street. The store was a purveyor of the curio, an object of uniqueness or rarity; in this case, "Mexican, Indian, Japanese and Chinese Art Goods." It was operated by Robert S. Field of San Jose and Charles H. Walton of Los Angeles. They also had stores located in San Jose, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
