Photograph article dated March 15, 1961 partially reads, "One of the few night track meets ever held in the Valley is scheduled Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Notre Dame Stadium, as the Knights take on the Serra Cavaliers. Notre Dame coach Tony Engle feels that the winner of the meet will go on to capture the 1961 Catholic League title. Serra finished second in varsity competition at last Saturday's Notre Dame Relays with 26 points. Notre Dame won the event with 48 points."
