Photograph caption dated April 30, 1946 reads, "Another marvel of modern science, the radio-telephone, is shown when it was demonstrated on the roof of the Southern California Telephone Co.'s main office. The new device will augment the telephonic facilities between Los Angeles and Catalina Island. Seen at demonstration, are, left to right, L. R. Montfort, C. T. Koerner and N. Lund."
