Description
Interior view of the Victory Service Club at 220 South Main Street. Sitting in a modern lounge which is a far cry from the wild back country of Sumatra, where he has been for the last six years, Hubert Mitchell, missionary from Sumatra, is shown in the center conversing with two servicemen. Mitchell is the director of the new recreational center for service men. Photo dated: October 12, 1942.
