Areta Crowell, former Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, was the keynote speaker presenting "Public Mental Health Programs in Los Angeles County: Past, Present and Future". Frances Wu received the George D. Nickel Award for Outstanding Professional Services. Ann Thor received the George D. Nickel Award for Outstanding Volunteer Services.
