Description
Fossil-bearing Modelo shale exposed by roadcut, Sepulveda Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. Cut shows dipping strata in the "Old Quarry" on Sepulveda Canyon Rd. just south of tunnel beneath Mulholland Drive.
