Photograph caption dated November 29, 1956 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bordeau, seated in back, are interrogated by firemen after their daughter Susan, 22 months, was trapped and burned to death when flames roared through family car as mother shopped in nearby store. An older brother, Michael, 4, accidentally set blaze with matches, investigators reported."
