Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated July 1, 1964 partially reads, "If a health food diet works you can't knock it. Lester Price and Mari Rone are two exponents with valid reasons for eating 'the healthy way.' He is a successful Valley realtor who says he cured crippling arthritis by diet. Mari Rone, model, actress and dancer, follows the health credo because she contoured, firmed and proportioned her figure to win the Miss Silhouette title by diet and exercise." Photograph caption reads, "Lester Price, above, demonstrates the use of the food grinder and juicer. Fruit and vegetable juice play an important role in a health [sic] diet. One third of all food eaten each day should be raw. Raw vegetables such as cauliflower, zucchini squash, turnips, carrots, celery, tomatoes, lettuce and avocados tossed with an herb seasoned dressing is delicious and healthful. Fresh fruit should be eaten each day."; See images #00140715 through #00140718 for all photos in this series.
