(Sleeve reads: A-9561). Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Gaze. Date: 1952-05-04. Reporter: Gaze. Assignment: Gas station accident. #17-18-38-39: Scene at gasoline service station at Wilshire Boulevard and 9th Street, Santa Monica, after gas pumps knocked down causing fire, by an automobile driven by an unconscious man who was pronounced dead of a heart attack upon arrival at Santa Monica Hospital. He was identified as Thomas J. Walters, 46, 1044 5th Street, Santa Monica".
