Description
Photograph caption date stamped September 18, 1957 reads, "Huge crane is dwarfed by mountain which looms over Burbank's new golf course site. New obstacle presented itself when tons of earth rode down slopes to access road. It will take $20,000 to eliminate future landslides by slicing off part of slope. City Council gave go-ahead on project which will be completed next month."
