Description
Image is of a burning three-masted side-wheeler, from which people are jumping into the water. The survivors in the water cling to flotsam or are in boats heading for shore. The text on the other page describes the accident and includes details about how many people were lost and missing. "A. N."--text, within lower left corner of image. "Sketched by an Eye Witness, Published by A. Rosenfield."--text, below image. Paper color: buff.
