Description
Photograph of basement of the Chamber of Commerce, showing the exhibit hall from the center, 1936. In the background at center, a large hexagonal desk can be seen. To the left and right of the desk, large rectangular pillars are visible extending from the floor to the ceiling. Seven pillars are visible on either side, and small rectangular frames can be seen hanging from the center of at least five of the pillars. Above the pillars on the ceiling, rows of circular lights and small sprinklers can be seen. Further to the left and right of the pillars, large rectangular indentations are visible in the walls. Large paintings can be seen beyond the indentations, and a large desk and chair are also visible on the far left side. In the extreme foreground, a large tile floor can be seen covering the entire exhibit floor. In the extreme background at center, twelve rectangular pictures can be seen behind the desk.
