Martin, and was completed in 1928; The Cathedral of St. Vibiana was designed by John C. Austin; Dorothy Chandler Pavilion was designed by Welton Becket; Pacific Bell Tower designed by Parkinson & Parkinson in 1961; Security Pacific Bank designed by Wm. Pereira Assoc. and built in 1973; Arco Towers, as they were known then, were designed by Albert C. Martin and Assoc. and built between 1972-73; and the Union Bank, also designed by Albert C. Martin and built in 1976. In this photo, several high-rise buildings can be seen throughout. The most prominent are: City Hall (middle right), Cathedral of St. Vibiana (middle left), Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (extreme right), Pacific Bell Tower and Arco Towers (upper left), Union Bank and Security Pacific Bank (upper right).
