Photograph caption dated January 29, 1963 reads "An interprofessional approach to police-community problems will be the main object of discussions at the sixth annual Institute on Police and Community Relations which will be held Feb. 5 and 6 on the campus of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Pictured above are planning committee members Dr. William F. Fitzgerald, front, director of the California Museum of Scence (sic) and Industry; Mrs. Floyd Minghini, back, president of the Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks-Encino Coordination Council; Inspector Howard Earle, of the sheriff's office, this year's institute chairman, standing, and Prof. John P. Kenney, president of the Los Angeles Police Commission."
