This portrait has a note on the back side written in Spanish declaring that this photograph is for the solider's godfather (Padrino) Manuel. Signed by Koshio E. Shimabukuro on February 11, 1948. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
