Description
Photograph of Ocean Avenue in Huntington Beach looking south, California, 1915. A lone man in the distance walks towards the camera in the center of the muddy, unpaved street. To the left of him a number of shopfronts line the street, one two-story building sporting the title "Ocean Wave" above the windows on its second story. A streetcar moves toward the side of a large gazebo next to the utility poles at right, separated from the street by a weed-covered hill.
