Description
Anne Gertrude Happ Elkington. Anne was born March 1894 in Salinas, California. She started work at the Salinas Post Office about 1916 or 1917. She retired from the Post Office in the 1950's after thirty-five plus years of experience. Before working at the Salinas Post Office, she worked at Logan's Music Store. According to her brother, Henry Happ, she played piano to demonstrate sheet music. Inforamation from Anna Gertrude Elkington, her daughter.
