Description: This 1960 pamphlet promotes a tree-planting service provided by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. The booklet was designed to assist customers in choosing the most proper trees for their home. At the time, SMUD identified some 100,000 trees in the district that could do damage to the company's power infrastructure. The book was offered free-of-charge to customers.
