Antelope Valley sent this beautiful desert scene showing a floral cowboy in front of life-sized Joshua tree. Cowboy was joined later by Sandra Mingus, Judy Stout, Sue Thomas, Barbara Williams and Linda Dyer. Cowboy is made of red and yellow chrysanthemums, rose petals and croton leaves. Title of this float is 'Valley of Sunshine.' Photograph dated January 2, 1959.
