Description: Karen Erickson, a student at Cosumnes River College, is Camelia Queen for 1972. She replaced Sherry Nix who was dethroned for entering another beauty pageant. Miss Nix went on to win the other competition and became Miss Metropolitan Sacramento a stepping stone to the Miss Universe title.
