Description
Image shows the First National Bank at Pine Avenue and Fourth Street, having moved from Pine Avenue and First Street in October of 1923. This is an exterior view from Pine Avenue. Six Ionic columns support the front facade of the new building, and long windows line the front entrance. The front sidewalk is busy with pedestrians. A partial view of the brick Army-Navy Storefront is visible at far right. At left in the background, a variety of small business storefronts may be seen. Signs visible include: "Hird Typewriter Co., Remington Portable;" "Radio;" "Davis and Sons Furniture Co.;" and "Rooms & Apts." DATE NOTES: Circa 1923. ORIG. IMAGE: 8" x 10" B&W glossy image.
