Description
Aerial photo of midtown Sacramento near Seventeenth St, facing northeast. Capitol Park can be seen center-left, and the American River toward the top of the image. The major road heading north-south is Twentieth Street, which has a railroad line. Just before the river (upper right) is the old city garbage dump, now the site of Sutter’s Landing Regional Park. Taken circa 1920 by Edwin Bruins, printed in 1941.
