Description: Employees of Valley Date Packing Corporation Plant, located in Monrovia, Calif. The women are labeling glass containers of dates. This pack is for the selected desert and salad fruit. Soft dates are used and contain all original moisture. They are picked just as they come off the palm tree, except that they are fumigated and washed.
