Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated October 20, 1954 reads "'I'll just sit down with my tools and start in!'" The article partially reads "John Alexander Masters, 72-year-old resident of Chatsworth, began woodcarving as hobby in 1930 and has kept at it ever since." The piece is titled "Twelfth Station of the Cross." The young man on the right in the photograph is unidentified.
