Description
The Department made history this month (January 1954), when the Water System installed its 500,000th water meter to make Los Angeles the only city in the entire nation with a half-million meters in service. Fitting ceremonies were conducted during the installation of the meter at the home being built for Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Ross at 4435 Caledonia Street, Eagle Rock.
