Photograph caption dated July 23, 1964 reads, "Mayor and Mrs. Samuel Yorty, left, greet Valley Councilman James Potter during Ambassador Hotel party last night celebrating Yorty's third year in office. Looking on is Supervisor Warren Dorn, center. The gala affair featured a luau, dancing and a floor show starring singer Nancy Wilson."
