Photograph caption dated March 1, 1958 reads "Bonnie Byers, 18, of 11316 Keswick St., Sun Valley, lifts clear plastic windows from high-pressure machine forming sections of ant farms. Framing six inch by nine inch windows are green plastic sides and stand. Ant farms are unbreakable and escape-proof." Fischer Plastics Company in Burbank manufactures the ant farms.
