Description
Porcelain celery dish with image of old Pasadena High School. The ceramic hallmark on this piece dates it to 1900. However, the school was built in 1904. Most likely, the dish was a stock piece and the image was later added. Made by the Rosenthal Factory in Dresden, Germany for H. C. Roedigger in Pasadena, CA. Owned by Gladis Edwards, who was the founding principal of new Pasadena High School.
